Hurt Less. Move Better.
Keep Doing What You Love.
Thoughtful therapeutic bodywork for pain, tension, and movement limitations.
Most people live with pain, stiffness, and tension far longer than they need to. At Radiant Health Pittsburgh, we relieve discomfort and compensation patterns your body has adapted to - through a structured plan of care, not one-off appointments. Serving the Pittsburgh area, we build lasting progress through consistency, close observation, and time.
You may have adapted more than you realize.
Pain and restriction often develop gradually, which makes them easy to normalize. What begins as tightness, fatigue, or an occasional ache can slowly evolve into a pattern that affects how you work, move, rest, and recover.
Radiant Health Pittsburgh exists for people who want more than temporary relief. We use a structured plan of care that evolves with your body, allowing each session to build on the last with intention, precision, and accountability.
A Personalized Approach
Most practices sell modalities à la carte – cupping for one price, hot stones for another, stretching if you upgrade. We don't.
Your care my incorporate myofascial techniques, cupping, hot stones, instrument-assisted soft tissue work, vibration therapy, stretching and other therapeutic tools - selected intentionally, session to session because your body needs them that day, not because you paid extra for them.
Our Structured Plan of Care
Isolated visits produce isolated results. At Radiant Health Pittsburgh, care is organized into three phases that build on one another, each with a recommended rhythm. The schedule below is what we recommend for most clients – your plan is confirmed and adjusted based on what we find in your initial session and how your body responds along the way.
Initial Therapeutic Session
Every plan of care starts here. One session, 60 minutes of listening, and a clear path forward. This is where we assess, establish goals, and build the plan.
Phase 1 – Hurt Less
First 90 days – one session per week
The initial focus is on supporting comfort, easing accumulated muscle tension, and helping your body begin moving more comfortably. Weekly frequency matters here – it's what allows each session to hold before the next one builds on it.
Phase 2 – Move Better
Next 90 days – one session every two weeks
As symptoms improve, the focus shifts toward mobility, movement quality, and durability. Sessions space out because your body is holding progress longer on its own.
Phase 3 – Keep Doing What You Love
Ongoing – one session per month
Once you've reached your goals, monthly maintenance protects the progress you've built and keeps you doing the things that matter most to you.
What You Can Expect
Every person who comes to Radiant Health has a different story, different goals, and different challenges. Your care begins with listening. We take time to understand your health history, current concerns, daily activities, and how pain, muscle tension, or movement limitations are affecting your quality of life.
Together, we'll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and determine whether a structured plan of care is appropriate based on your individual needs.
Meaningful progress is built through consistency, careful observation, and an ongoing therapeutic relationship. Because each session builds upon the previous one, it's important that your schedule can reasonably support the recommended plan of care. When therapist and client are both committed to the process, that progress becomes much more achievable.
Throughout your care, we continue observing how your body responds, discussing what has changed since your previous visit, and adapting each session accordingly. Rather than repeating the same routine every time, your care evolves as your body changes and your goals are achieved.
Thoughtful Care for Bodies Working in Overdrive
People come to Radiant Health for many different reasons. You may be living with acute or chronic discomfort, persistent muscle tension, recovering from a demanding season of life, experiencing the physical demands of a demanding job, or simply noticing that stiffness is beginning to limit the way you move and enjoy everyday life.
Whether your discomfort developed suddenly or has built up gradually over time, every therapeutic massage session is guided by your goals, how your body responds, and the phase of care you're currently in. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, each session is thoughtfully adapted to support your mobility, recovery, and physical function.
Initial Therapeutic Session
Your first appointment is an in-depth starting point. We take time to understand your health history, current concerns, movement limitations, and desired outcome so we can build a structured plan of care that makes sense for your body.
This session establishes the foundation for your therapeutic care and helps determine the most appropriate path forward.
Structured Plans of Care
For clients who need more than occasional relief, we may recommend a structured plan of care. This approach is designed to support consistent, lasting progress through regular reassessment and careful progression.
Rather than treating each appointment as an isolated event, your care is built to evolve as your body changes — making the work more intentional and effective for clients who are ready for sustained results.
-
Your therapeutic sessions are not identical from one visit to the next. Each appointment is guided by careful observation, your feedback, and the progress you've made since your previous visit.
As your body changes, your care changes with it. Every session is adapted to support your body's changing needs, your personal goals, and the phase of care you're currently in. The session changes because the client changes.
-
Once you've achieved your goals or your symptoms have stabilized, maintenance sessions help support the progress you've made. Many clients choose ongoing care to help manage the physical demands of work, family, recreation, and everyday life.
About Rhonda
Rhonda J. Yancey has spent more than twenty years with her hands on the problem most people have learned to just live with.
She'll tell you that the ache in your shoulder is rarely a shoulder problem. The body compensates for years - until one day it can't. Recognizing that pattern is what her career has been built on. As founder of Radiant Health Pittsburgh, she practices around a single conviction: real results come from a therapeutic relationship that develops over time, not from one good hour on a table.
Her method is observational and deliberate. She watches how you move, how tissue responds, how posture shifts between visits, and what you tell her has changed since the last one. Then she adapts. The session changes because the client changes – and she guides that progression through a structured plan of care.
Rhonda holds an Associate of Science in Massage Therapy from the Community College of Allegheny County and is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is registered with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH). Her clinical experience spans chronic muscle tension, movement restriction, stress-related discomfort, active adults, and veterans carrying tension related to stress or trauma.
Her mission hasn't changed in two decades: help people hurt less, move better, and keep doing what you love.
